MirtTidy ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy deeply. This Privacy Policy describes how our storage cleaning app accesses, processes and protects data on your device. By downloading, installing and using MirtTidy, you agree fully to all terms of this policy. If you disagree with any provisions, please uninstall the app immediately.
MirtTidy is a lightweight local storage cleaner, built to scan, preview and delete redundant images, videos, duplicate media and junk cache files to free up your Android phone storage. All file scanning, analysis and cleaning operations run completely offline on your local device. We never upload, back up, transmit or store any of your personal photos, videos or media files on remote servers.
android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
This permission is required to implement our image cleaning core function. MirtTidy scans all local image files to find duplicate photos, blurry pictures, useless screenshots and image cache generated by third-party apps. It loads image thumbnails and file info so you can preview and delete unwanted images manually. This permission only works after you grant authorization. We will never extract location data from pictures or share your images with any third parties.
android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VIDEO
This permission is essential for video storage optimization. The app scans all local video files to detect large unused videos, repeated clips and residual video cache. It displays video previews, file sizes and creation dates to help you clear redundant videos. All video processing runs locally on your device, and no original video content will be sent to external servers. Without this permission, all video cleanup features will be disabled entirely.
MirtTidy does not collect, store or transmit any personally identifiable sensitive data, including your name, phone number, address, account info or location data.
All images and videos accessed via media permissions stay only on your device. We will not create cloud copies of your media library. Temporary scan cache will clear automatically when you close the app. Only lightweight scan filter settings are saved in the app’s private local folder, which you can erase anytime by clearing app data in Android system settings.
We will never sell, rent, trade or share your media files, storage data or device information with any outside companies, advertisers or developers. If third-party ad SDKs are integrated, they can only receive anonymous non-media usage data and have zero access to your photo and video library.
You can enable or revoke READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO permissions anytime via your Android system settings. If you turn off these permissions, all media scan and cleaning functions of MirtTidy will stop working. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all local temporary cache and preference data generated by MirtTidy.
All media reading and analysis work inside the isolated Android system sandbox. The app only accesses your media library after your active permission grant. We will never run automatic background media scanning without you opening MirtTidy manually.
We may update this policy regularly to comply with Google Play rules and global privacy laws. All updated terms will be posted on this official privacy page. Your continued use of MirtTidy after updates means you accept the revised policy.
